Have you ever wondered what the PAL in PAL hours even means? Parents As Leaders–yep, that’s it! Research has demonstrated that parent engagement plays an important role in student success and at Forest Hills, parent involvement is not only encouraged but expected.
Each academic year families are required to fulfill 25 PAL hours. There are many opportunities for involvement – from adopting a garden bed, to driving for a field trip. There are so many ways to get involved. For a list of current opportunities, be sure to visit the Volunteer Opportunities bulletin board. It’s just inside the front entrance.
